I would look at it as an opportunity to come to myself and then, at dawn, rise again.

You look half cat and half woman :)....but most importantly you are the shadow of your former self :)

s.a., as a shadow of my former self, would my present self be shadow-less? what is a self without a shadow?

How do you form shadow ?? Perhaps to be a shadowless...self...is that light is emitting from you, and not light casting on you :)...

This makes me think of Peter Pan trying to sew his shadow on with soap...

s.a., interesting........to have a shadow involves an interaction with the sun...........or maybe a bright full moon...........as you point out, it is about the light outside of me. and i might be curious as to what differences a moon shadow brings.........

yet, if i find myself without that source, then i might discover that i am my own star............ah..........we are back to the question about being made of stardust...........

i wonder, is there really only one question?

and if so, did i just ask it?

however, i enjoy an abundance of answers, so i will continue asking questions simply for the pleasure of the insights that follow..........
