The reason you are a lightbulb is because you feel inadequate in comparison to the sun. You wear this glow, but it really isn't a true glow. It's one created in a factory, that can be bought and sold.
Now the sun, that's the real deal. No one can create the sun. So trying to be the sun is a vain endeavour. No one can ever be what the sun is.
You should lose that lightbulb and be what you really are.

How do you come up with this stuff? I really like it.

thanks, bee. it just comes to me in quiet moments.

as for light bulb inadequacy, well, in comparison to the sun, it would lose out in terms of brightness. but, when night comes..........the light bulb just might move into its own.

so maybe there are times to express one's inner lightbulb.......

Will the lightbulb fill itself to be a part of the sun?Feel honored that a part of light resides in him, and that he is just a child for the sun, when sun is gone to spread light to the other part of the world he is given the job to light our selves..'how would the lightbulb feel? proud to be the child of the light giver!!

so would a lightbulb, created by a factory, feel related to the sun? or separate from it. and how would that impact on how the lightbulb feels about the sun?

would it represent something the light bulb can never be?

or, as you say bh, would it be wise enough to see itself as a child of the sun, with a task of its own, a light of its own?

You know the quote where it says we all come on this earth with a mission,so maybe the lightbulb's mission, destiny, job is to spread that light..and how we perceive a situation depends on us..
the lightbulb can feel inferior, left out or plain bad for believe sun to be different from him,for sun to outshine him..
or he can see sun as a part of him,as his successor for the night,as two bodies with the same surface, and feel happy, secure, belonged and proud..
depends on the lightbulb's perception..

so, what you are saying, bh, is that if we feel like we belong, then that changes everything. we find ways to connect, to see value in ourselves and those around us.

...and to feel separate from creates even more isolation......which is not as simplistic as it might sound.

If i were a lightbulb, i know my place,to be used in the dark....so when i see the sun ....i become small....and the sun take over ...guess everyone of us plays our individual part in this world ....whether you are invented or happen to be a part of nature .....and when you take up your role willingly ....everything will falls into place ....i will be a humble lightbulb :)

as will the sun be an humble sun, perhaps?

The Sun is indeed a humble sun....it has been doing it's duty for the past thousands of years till now ....daily rising and setting ....never miss his part in providing ....that i called humble ...doing it's part faithfully :)Will the sun ever get tired ??
