if it reminds you of a song you know, can it also become a new song for you?

Jim said...

yeah, I have a phonographic memory.

anne artist said...

and does memory help you recognize what is new?

Jim said...

i have heard (or imagined) all the sounds I can hear. New is just organizing them differently.

anne artist said...

is it also recognizing what you hear? if you don't recognize a sound, can you hear it?

Probably not :) But, if I liked it I would share it with others sourcing you.
My question: If I was ugly would you still love me??

does love not enable beauty to be seen in a new light?

Khalil Lindsay said...

After the love has evolved beauty is in the eye of the beholder no? I guess my question is an after the fact pointless question because maybe if I was ugly you never would have loved me. But, if i was deformed from an accident in some way, yes, your answer would satisfy me, your love would be true to me.

do i fall in love due to outside beauty or what i seem to see on the inside? can love then develop inside out?

Khalil Lindsay said...

Most would deny it i think but yes love can (and probably does) develop "inside out" but, is it not the initial outward attraction that initiates the transformation? Afterwards, the inward attraction probably overcomes, but if the outward appearance changes dramatically it, depending on the person, can overcome the love for the inward?

if it is it simply a visual experience at first, how do our eyes speak to us? how do we hear what our eyes are saying?

or does something in the person's voice, strike a cord within us? a cord that is completely new but also has lived within us our whole lives?

are there many layers to what seems simple? yet, would it seem as simple without the layers?

If I did say I'd heard it many times before but it never sounded so beautiful would you still go on singing?

anne artist said...

then would the song become a dance?

Smoky Moonlight said...

surely the song and dance go together, one feeds the other :)

anne artist said...

can a song be a dance and a dance become a song?

Smoky Moonlight said...

A song is but a dance of emotions, dressed up in a costume of sound waves that are vibrating and waltzing. It starts in my mind and ends in yours. Its the mind's dance

A dance is but a melodious symphony of heart beats and footsteps, a song that the heart sings to convey how it feels. The heart's song.

Anne artist: You are very smart for asking if love enables beauty to be seen in a new light? I just wanted to say I love reading your posts and this conversasion really caught my eye. Especially the part where you guys talk about if a song can become a dance and a dance becocme a song. Very inspiring and interesting to hear your guy's views.

:) I am amazed at the words too...I guess when the right questions are asked..the perfect words just flow out from the universe through us.

How could a beautiful question ever have a plain response??

anne artist said...

i am savoring this, smokey moonlight.....

Everything is contained in its own opposite.
