If you are afraid of being afraid then you shall always be courageous, because you fear being afraid. Thus with a strong foot courage you shall always be fearful.
I love this question as it is filled with oxymoron :)
I hope you are doing very well anne :)

Can being courageous be learnt?? How do you define courageous ??...when we afraid of being afraid ...what will we do ???

bh, i am very happy to hear from you! i hope you are well, too.

i love the idea that to be courageous is to be fearful. instead of focusing on trying to avoid fear or fight it. or obliterate it. feeling fear can be a source of strength....

wow.....fear can be a traveling companion reminding me that i am living courageously and as a result, can feel empowered!

s.a., it seems that we are responding to your questions....which is not to say that there is not any one answer.......i fear that might not be the case.....

how do we learn to be afraid?

that is my next question.....inspired by our discussion...

i am afraid of failing. yet, life, each day is made up of failures and successes. they are as natural as breathing.....and very possibly what i consider to be a failure has within it success and i can encounter failure in the midst of success.

i would like to not hold my breath in anticipation of failing and instead, breathe in and out, in and out.....
