each question, each drawing is an invitation to join me in allowing what appears absurd to take us to a wisdom beyond linear thinking.
as long as we question, we are free. free to see, to feel and to express who we are. and to connect collaboratively with one another.

"the emperor's new clothes" by hans christian andersen
this fairy tale has been a companion to me as i have traveled through my life.
briefly, it is about an emperor who was deceived by two tailors who said they were making a set of clothing out of a "dream" fabric. in reality, they used no fabric at all. to make their scam complete, they announced that only those who were wise enough would be able to see the beautiful clothing. and so, no one, not even the emperor, admitted to being unable to see it.
wearing his new "clothing", the emperor paraded through his kingdom. no one questioned his appearance; no one wished to appear less than wise.
until a small child asked, "why is the emperor not wearing any clothes?"
so it is that i ask, if i question rather than believe i am wise, what will i see?

- if i were pepper, how would i feel about salt?

even if there were no commercials?
For Daydreams...there is breakfast .....and haha...TV shows....commercial breaks ....why do you paint blue stripes ??
the blue lines represent the blue sky..as in day- dreams... and are abstract since daydreams are not " real" ....
although "real" has many definitions.
there could be a commercial on tv dor a breakfast cereal...would that inspire a daydream?
Then, daydreaming would be so real in many definitions :)....
as real as a blue line...
Btw....sorry...i dun really know why i link daydream with breakfasts ...perhaps ....i had the idea of dreaming in the night :)....blue lines can the frequency of boardcasting of TV shows ...too, right ??
i suppose a daydream could be breakfast....
and a blue line could broadcast a tv show or lead us into dreams...
i wonder, is a tv show a form of daydreaming?
TV shows ...warns us of the mistakes we could be making in future if we are to build our dreams :)
do daydreams warn us of anything?
daydreaming both help and delay us building our dreams...and reaching our goals ....:)
do they help by delaying?
delaying maybe good and bad ...understand that you got to live out every moment ...that always count :)
is delaying actually possible? is a delay really moving in the opposite direction?
