If a bird is in its cage,do you think it has any sense of direction ??

if the cage were its world, would it not still have some sense of direction? would it not need a way to orient itself? how would it do that?

A bird in a cage maybe very sad ...guess that is why ....when it sings ...it maybe the sweetest amongst all....how it orient ??i dun know ...maybe it does not need to be orient at all??....is there a need to ??

perhaps the bird orients by noticing the direction in which the sun rises and sets.

hat would life be like without a sense of direction?

Without a direction...hmmm...hope the state of people would not be like a caged bird ....maybe it would be a good thing too ...since it orient itself with the direction of rise and set of sun :)

so do we each have personal "suns" ?

Sally Ang said...

Yes we had ....Anne your sun rises from which side ??

anne artist said...

it rises from the east. and yours?

but, if i am my own planet.......maybe i can rethink this and look for the sun in another direction.......

haha...mine rises behind a HDB flat(blocks of houses we live in singapore :)...HDB means Housing Development Board :)

so it seems that on this planet, the sun is always rising. always setting.

and if the cage is the bird's home, what happens if it leaves and the sun no longer rises in the same place outside the bars?

Then the bird needs to learn to build a nest :)
