I will not decide that i am lightning ...i will decide to stay indoors ...and avoid the thunderstorms...haha...if rainbows appear on the horizon, what will be in your mind ??

i like your comment, s.a., because it brings to mind that if i see a storm approaching, rather than becoming part of it, i can go to another place. and not become a part of it.

if i see rainbows on the horizon, then i might run toward it so that i can soak up the colors..........

Haha...i like your comments too ...run towards it ....i would choose to take out my camera ...and capture it :)...and i would say a little prayer , and i would savour that moment ....is a long, long, long time that i saw a rainbow :)

You have four seconds to decide, which is the time span between the time we hear thunder and the time we see the lightning. Can you decide that quickly? So it depends if you want to be part of that particular storm

s.a., taking out our cameras........like creating a memory we can revisit. we can photograph thunderclouds or rainbows or just blades of grass in between our toes as we stand outside looking at the sky.

r, i wonder if it is about deciding whether or not to see the thunderclouds as a storm..........in four seconds........life often does not tend to give us much time to process what we see...........

and if i decide to be lightning and the storm clouds disappear, then who would i be? what is lightning without thunder and storms?

Maybe life does not tend to give us time to process what we see ...but life allows us to experience what we choose we want to be ...if you decided to be the lightening and the dark clouds and storm does not come, do you tend to become that rainbow ??

Anne,haha...ya standing outdoors to take all kinds of pictures for memories sake :)...why should i stay indoors and be afraid of the thuderstorms ??

can i be both the lightning and the rainbow at the same time?

s.a., it seems to me that sometimes it is fun to stay inside and be afraid of the thunderstorms. there is something childlike about it...but only when there is a part of us that feels safe at the same time.

When you become the lightening and rainbow same time...you need to know when and where you should be at for what reasons...guess we could not really be two in one at the same time unless the two roles is used for the same purpose ...or common goal ....

Anne, totally agreed with you ...that is why Mummy had always provide that safe environment ...becos deep inside she knows is safe inside the indoors although she is not afraid of the outdoors too :)And...most importantly she knows her partner, would like to come indoors becos he needs to rest from the thuderstorms too ...no matter how exciting he feels at the outdoors :)

yes, the wisdom to know that we need to rest......

i wonder..........if all i knew were rainbows, would i be able to see lightning?

Sally Ang said...

Guess ...that is why in natural ...there is lightening and rainbows ....if the lightening is not there...we may not appreciate the rainbows when we see it :)

and if we were not confronted with lightning or standing before rainbows?

We were be inside reading books, watching TV...haha...but we can also be doing creative stuff in the indoors ....:)

or perhaps reading books or watching tv shows about thunderstorms..........

or sketching rainbows on torn pieces of paper.
