I loved the skecth, it's my favorite of all... I wonder if bird nest in between your toes, do tree branches and leaves have to grow first? so do you become the soil, an extended part of the sediments of the cliff?
thank you, bh..........the drawings are changing. i am having fun with them!
a very good question about the nest............does it comes from me, do i birth it, plant it.......grow it........all the while clinging to the edge of the cliff?
Very interesting ...this question slumps me flat :)...but the comments of both you and bh ...enlightens ....if you cling to the edge of a cliff, are you afraid ?? if you are will you then be able let the bird nest in between your toes ?? will the bird brings further burdens to you??Or will the bird who nests between your toes teach you to be like itself,to fly....and taught you not to cling to the edge of a cliff ??
Will it be impacted by your fear ??Or will the bird trust in that feet of yours ....if you focus on that bird and that nest, will it not teach you how to fly off that cliff, and start that flight of faith onto that what is install before you ??
i am a painter who began my career as a child coloring outside the lines of my coloring books. i am a writer who started out by composing adventure stories while riding my stick horse around the backyard. as a child, i got in trouble for asking too many questions...i question that.
"the emperor's new clothes" by hans christian andersen
this fairy tale has been a companion to me as i have traveled through my life.
briefly, it is about an emperor who was deceived by two tailors who said they were making a set of clothing out of a "dream" fabric. in reality, they used no fabric at all. to make their scam complete, they announced that only those who were wise enough would be able to see the beautiful clothing. and so, no one, not even the emperor, admitted to being unable to see it.
wearing his new "clothing", the emperor paraded through his kingdom. no one questioned his appearance; no one wished to appear less than wise.
until a small child asked, "why is the emperor not wearing any clothes?"
so it is that i ask, if i question rather than believe i am wise, what will i see?

and if i do that, what indeed is the bird?
Maybe bird is a foreign object, someone who enters your world of nature..may be a friend?
yes, maybe the bird represents another person. someone who builds nests and sings songs and does not focus on the cliff but on flying.........
i wonder if we do not all benefit from the birds in our lives.
thank you, bh, for your insights.
It's always my pleasure..=)

yes, s.a., what kind of bird is it? is it even impacted by your fear as you cling to the edge of the cliff?
it chooses to build a nest in between your toes...and you are in what seems to you to be a precarious position.
if you focused on the bird and its nest, what would happen then?

or maybe i would focus on the nest. on the twigs and fall from the cliff. landing in the upper branches of a tree..........
there to find myself staring into a bird's nest. eggs ready to hatch...........
If you were in India, it probably would!
certainly a reason to travel to india, then!
You're most welcome!
