At first you would vibrate with excitement having struck the bulls-eye, but once you have calmed to a stationary anchor might you feel stuck?

an excellent question, sadie! what are your thoughts about it?

target is to arrow as american dream is to ... um ... americans?

If you are an arrow, would you be able to feel ?? Aren't you suppose to be that "weapon" used by the master ?? So would you even know that you had hit the target?? If i felt stuck, wouldn't i hope that the Master would withdraw me from that target, and focus me to a higher, tougher to hit target ??

m, and since the target is a dream, the arrow cannot reach the target in the day to day.........

anne artist said...

s.a., if i were an arrow and i "hit" my target, could i be other than a weapon? if i achieved the connection with my target, would i do so with the knowledge that i could "hit"?

Sally Ang said...

If you are not the "weapon"...then could it be that you are the source of joy that you provides to the Master...as you hit the target ??...:)....Well, if you could achieved the connection to the target and hit it...do you let the target have the knowledge or do you keep it slient ...thus achieving more joy for the Master ??

s.a., your comment is an interesting one.

someone once said to me that everything is either love or fear. so an arrow built of fear would be a weapon. but not so an arrow made of love.

so if i connect with joy, would the target notice? if the target did not notice, would i then fear the target and become an arrow that is a weapon after all?

home! am home!

then if my target is home and i am the arrow, who/what pulls the bow?

Sally Ang said...

What make you notice or not notice,do the knowledge of being an arrow or the hitting on the target takes you to a higher level of noticing?? .If you fear the target and become the weapon ...would you do it out of wanting to be notice again or just becos you are being the tool made by the Master to complete the mission :)

Who/ what pulls the bow ??
The person who you loves pulls the bow. The tension of strength that the string attached to the bow is the mechancism that pulls the bow.

anne artist said...

ah, so tension plays a role. it can lead to the arrow hitting its mark..............

and yes, if i have knowledge how will that impact what i notice? will i see only one target? will i believe i am only one type of arrow?

I'm thinking along the lines of Sally Ang. An arrow is just a tool(weapon), without an outsiders action, there is no idea of a target.

the target isn't the arrows goal, it is the goal of the shooter.

And you, anne, spoke of arrows of love. Didn't cupid shoot a metaphorical version of those? Arrows aren't just wood and stone, connected together to wound and hit targets. They are concentrated, focused energy to achieve a result. Ask cupid.

PS. the colors are a nice addition to your blog

Will the knowledge help you noticed that other than the target you focused on,it may be able to develop a lot of other types of arrows ??So in this knowledge, will you then loses your focus on your target?? Thus, in the end won't be hitting that target of yours ??

sir, it is such a pleasure to read your insights again!

you mention an arrow as "concentrated focus energy". a tool.

so if i were an arrow, i would be aware of that energy i contain within myself. i ask, would i be impacted by the user's view of me? as a tool, as a weapon.

how would i define myself? and if i hit the user's target, what would happen to my focus then?

anne artist said...

s.a., if i have knowledge of other arrows, if i see them fly toward targets, will i believe that i, as an arrow, am meant to fly toward a target?

and if i miss the target, what will i gain instead?

anne artist said...

ps, thanks, sir, for your comment about the addition of color to the blog. i am having fun with it..........

I don't think a tool is aware of its energy, because a tool does not contain any energy. All it has is potential.

It's purpose is to transfer someone's or somethings energy, or ideas. Rocks were just rocks before the stone age.

If you can think, you are not a tool, unless you allow someone else to use you as one. And if that is the situation, you become whatever the person using you wanted you to be.

anne artist said...

sir, if i have the potential to think but do not, am i not being used by myself?

anynone knowbody said...

I like that! True, if you can think but don't, you are not being used by yourself. You made that choice. And that is good, or at least not bad.

However, if you don't think, and someone uses your inaction as a tool, that can be bad.

anne artist said...

if i don't know i can think, then do i have potential? or only energy to be used by someone else?

if someone sees me as a tool, then does that person regard me as being "potentially" useful?

if i don't know to think and therefore, don't know i have potential, then who do i think i am?

Raji said...

According to Khalil Gibran, it's your parents who are the bow and the unknown power that pulls the bow! I need a lot more of spiritual energy to analyse that or argue with that

anne artist said...

in some ways, as we grow older, do we become parents to our own selves and if so, are we both the arrow puller and the arrow?

Raji said...

I think I am too self indulgent and sensual to parent myself, I don't know about others

anne artist said...

to grow up without becoming our own parents..........there is an art to that...........
