If you are wearing a mask, you are not able to face the world ...

what are you facing instead?

You are facing a task to accomplish something that the world could not fathom ....and thus the mask is needed ....but important thing is that you need to still be able to face yourself ....because only in facing yourself and seeing the reflection of yourself ....you will only know the path of the task that you need to accomplish which may lead you to wear different masks at different times ....is an extra-ordinary call, but a call that you can choose to decide to take it up ....:)....(answer this with a simple inspiration that only wants to let persons who read, feel the need to look upon what masks they are wearing and what masks they needed to wear in the future)

The masks we wear determine how we face life. We are never without a mask. The mask becomes us.

if we wear masks, then is life a costume party and are we the guests?

Costume party....hmmm....why must it be a costume party....why not everyone of us take down our masks and let it be a nice, little sunny party out in the garden ....held in the daylight...without the formal and troublesome costume ...:)

the costume, the mask does lend an aspect of formality to the party. which causes me to wonder, is formality in a way, a feeling of distance from another person?
