haha...if i were a bird, would i think fish fly through the waters??.....fish and birds are different animals ...with different make up....perhaps they do wonder is it the same as they travel around, perhaps they do not know that the other animals do exist ....perhaps they will never get to know each other worlds ...becos there is no opportunities to :)

well, in a way, don't they? it's really not all that different when you think about it, just the substance they are travelling in.

so, is it about what is familiar? if i swim, i might think a bird would. that there are times when i don't conceive of difference.

or is there a difference and the only way we have to describe it is to use terms that apply only to us?

:)...we are all created things ...English are created language too...thus ....terms are created too....perhaps because of this "uniqueness"....there is a variety ...a lot of choices ...but as a whole it boils down how you use the differences, how you becos of your percepts of life ...accept that differences ....thus able to construct that "vabraincy"...haiz poor spelling again :)

Creative spelling, s.a.!

So I am wondering if I look at my own self with new eyes, what I would see?

Maybe I would see myself swimming down a busy street or flying through the grocery store....

Sally Ang said...

Huh...street got so many people ?? and why fly through the grocery store....is it that there are too many people...and no place for animals .... and everyone of us are rushing for time ....thus need to fly instead of stroll ??

let's see........how to be clearer...........we were talking about how we see things through the lense of what is familiar to us. so a fish might think that birds swim since flying would be unfamiliar.

then i questioned what it would be like to see things from an unfamiliar, new viewpoint. i do wonder what it would be like to imagine flying around the grocery store isles...would it make the trip more fun? i would be taking a vacation from seeing things in the usual way. of course, i would know that i was just imagining it......so far, i can't figure out how to fly anywhere without a plane........including a grocery stores!

Maybe we have different ...things in our minds ....becos i was just thinking ....is it that the cities had sprung up lots ...and there are no place for the animals ....and the people had lost their time in cities that they go about "flying"....which i think should not be :)

So maybe, animals and people living in the unnaturalness of cities begin to lose what comes natural to them...

So instead of the concept of survival of the fittest, it might be survival of the strangest?

Sally Ang said...

Being the strangest ...does it mean you are also the fittest....becos being strange means that your brain is full of "nonsenses" to carry you through life ...no matter how tough and rough the environment is :)....haha ....

Ah, yes, I am in favor of what appears to be nonsense.

It is a vehicle for traveling where swimming and flying cannot take me....
