through my questions, i hope to encounter the paradox within belief, that place where there is not one answer but many contradictory ones.
each question, each drawing is an invitation to join me in allowing what appears absurd to take us to a wisdom beyond linear thinking.
as long as we question, we are free. free to see, to feel and to express who we are. and to connect collaboratively with one another.

- i am a painter who began my career as a child coloring outside the lines of my coloring books. i am a writer who started out by composing adventure stories while riding my stick horse around the backyard. as a child, i got in trouble for asking too many questions...i question that.

"the emperor's new clothes" by hans christian andersen
this fairy tale has been a companion to me as i have traveled through my life.
briefly, it is about an emperor who was deceived by two tailors who said they were making a set of clothing out of a "dream" fabric. in reality, they used no fabric at all. to make their scam complete, they announced that only those who were wise enough would be able to see the beautiful clothing. and so, no one, not even the emperor, admitted to being unable to see it.
wearing his new "clothing", the emperor paraded through his kingdom. no one questioned his appearance; no one wished to appear less than wise.
until a small child asked, "why is the emperor not wearing any clothes?"
so it is that i ask, if i question rather than believe i am wise, what will i see?

The moon reflects the sun and has no light of its own, so a sunny personality would still shine at night, right? I like the paradox questions. They make me think. Fun. I found your blog by hitting the "next blog" button. I'll be back. Rosemary

I will be one who has shared her light with another, as the moon has no light of its own.
Bringing light into the darkest night, sharing your happiness even though you are unseen.
In the moonlight, you'll be a shadow of the past, and a foretaste of the future.
Guess...persons with sunny disposition may have a darker side ....maybe in the moonlight she took off her disposition and being very alone with the moonlight .....so the sunny side turn to a very cool side :)
so, pooh-ger(girl)1996, in moonlight anything might be possible since it's timeless?
and sally ang, i had not thought about taking off one's disposition. very interesting image. so moonlight might ask little of the wearer?
Moonlight is reflected light from the sun ....it got no light of it's own ....therefore is not that moonlight ask very little of the wearer ....but it got not enough power to ask the wearer ....instead ....it just give what it can to the wearer .....:)
when the moon reflects the sun's light, is the light changed in any way?
Guess light is always light ....it won't change ....but the brightness, degree of it changed ....depending on it's position and how is it received,then it will be given out in whatever form it is transformed into internally .....then again other than the moon that get the light from Sun....will there be another source that will reflect that of the sun ??
if we are touched by the sun's light, do we also reflect it?
