Definitely the pen. The tool and the person behind the art, letter, etc. are always the most interesting. The finished product is just the end result.

so the person is also the instrument? if so, i wonder what would serve as the ink?

The creator in us always seeks to experience that which it has not yet experienced. But the creator IS the maker of each experience. While you would consider what being 'ink' is, in reality you are both ink and pen, since both come from your creator mind. Take a look at http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/thunder.html It's right up your alley! Love your theme!

is there one answer or many? will an answer discovered take you to another question and another point of view waiting to be seen?

as for this blog entry, where does being the ink take you? or the pen?

Can one be both? If not I'd rather be the pen which can control and contain what the ink can do or say.

yes, can one be both? as it is that the ink is contained by the pen, is the pen not contained by the hand writing with it? and if so, what of the hand?
